Weird name eh? When I told Jeremy I was thinking of doing a daily diary to record my first year of retirement, we were discussing what I could call it.
I have been day dreaming about what hobbies I can take up for a while now and these include growing herbs/veg in our new raised beds, taking up sketching/watercolours, learning French etc.
Given my slight tendency to laziness (ahem)he remarked that the site should be called “Two red cabbages and a dusty easel” implying that I might not be as productive as I think.
This is my diary of proving him wrong (hopefully) and keeping track of all the exciting things that I/we get up to this year.
I’ve set myself the challenge of only posting one photo per day – let’s see how that goes on days where there’s lots of stuff going on.
Anyway, if you’re reading this then I hope you enjoy it. I know it’s going to be a really interesting and exciting adventure. For me!!!!
